Dosage
- Week 1: ½ scoop (2.5 g) 1 - 2 times daily with a glass of water
- Week 2: ½ scoop (2.5 g) 2 - 3 times daily with a glass of water
- Week 3: 1 scoop twice daily with a glass of water
- Can be taken with or without meals
Warnings
Contains sodium
- The recommended daily dose contains 135 mg sodium per scoop (5 g)
- If you are taking medications, take them one hour prior or two hours after taking this product
- It is important to drink adequate amounts of water (375 - 500 mL) immediately after taking PGX®
- Individuals under 18 years are recommended to consult their health care practitioner before use
- May decrease dosage requirements for hypoglycemic medications, caution is advised with concomitant use
- A small percentage of people may initially experience minor digestive changes when taking PGX®; slowly work up to the full dose
- Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have diabetes, are on cholesterol lowering medications or if your goal is to achieve weight loss
- Use during pregnancy and lactation should be under guidance of a health practitioner due to insufficient evidence for use while pregnant or breastfeeding
