Warnings

- If you have had a baby with neural tube defect/spina bifida, seek specific medical advice
- When taken in excess of 3000 μg retinol equivalents (RE) vitamin A can cause birth defects
- The recommended daily amount of Vitamin A from all sources is 700 μg RE for women and 900 μg RE for men
- Advise your health professional of any medicine you take during pregnancy, particularly in your first trimester
- If you are pregnant or considering becoming pregnant, do not take vitamin A supplements without consulting your health professional
- Contains selenium which is toxic in high doses; a daily dose of 150 μg for adults from dietary supplements should not be exceeded
- Vitex agnus-castus may affect hormones and medicines such as oral contraceptives, consult your health professional before use
- Stop taking this medication if you experience tingling, burning or numbness and see your health professional as soon as possible (Vitamin B6)
