  • Combines herbs used in traditional Western herbal medicine

  • Adults: 1 tablet 4 - 8 times daily
  • Children 6 - 12 years: 1 tablet 1 - 4 times daily
  • The duration of use should not exceed 8 weeks


  • Caution in pregnancy Contraindicated in patients taking nifedipine Discontinue 7 days prior to general anaesthesia Caution is advised in patients receiving midazolam by injection Caution is advised in patients receiving prednisolone by injection Caution is advised in patients taking cilostazol or phenprocoumon Not to be used in children under two years of age without medical advice Ginger should be used cautiously in patients taking antacids (may decrease the effectiveness as ginger increases gastric secretory activity) Contraindicated in hypertension (including hypertension during pregnancy), oedema and in those taking thiazide or loop diuretics Avoid long-term use if taking antihypertensive medications, digoxin and other potassium-depleting drugs Contraindicated for long-term use when taking immunosuppressant medication (e.g. transplant patients); short-term therapy only is suggested Daily doses of dried ginger over 4 g are contraindicated with blood-thinning drugs such as warfarin or aspirin or in those who have increased risk of haemorrhage; at doses of ginger below this, exercise caution
