Dosage & warnings
1 tablet once or twice daily
If symptoms persist, talk to your health professional
Not advisable in jaundiced neonates
Discontinue 7 days prior to general anaesthesia
Not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding
Contraindicated in patients taking immunosuppressive drugs
Caution is warranted in beta-thalassaemia, unconjugated hyperbilirubinaemia and those with obstructed bile ducts
Seek medical advice if diarrhoea persists for more than:
6 hours in infants under 6 months
12 hours in children under 3 years
24 hours in children aged 3 - 6 years
48 hours in adults and children over 6 years
Only take as directed.
